Our current education system was formed during the Industrial Revolution and operates like an assembly line. More than technical skills are required in today’s workforce. Students need to be able to interpret information, form opinions, be creative, communicate well, and efficiently collaborate. By ignoring students’ individual qualities and interests, our society has failed to use schools to support students’ strengths and passions. Edu² is an experiential learning conference that addresses the need for education reform in the United States that implements a hands-on learning approach.
